What it is
A 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It blocks the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT, the androgen that shrinks hair follicles in male pattern loss. Less DHT reaching the follicle means the shrinking slows.

Common considerations
- Possible reduced libido, erectile difficulty or lowered ejaculate volume
