What it is
A PDE5 inhibitor, the same class as the original erectile-dysfunction tablets. It blocks the enzyme that closes blood vessels back down, so the vessels that open during arousal stay open longer.
How it helps
- Relaxes blood vessels so more blood reaches the penis during arousal
- Works alongside sexual stimulation. It does not produce an erection on its own
- Usually taken ahead of activity, with a window of roughly four to six hours
