The six
- What exactly is it, by name? Not the brand name of the package, but the ingredient, the dose, the volume.
- What is the evidence, and how strong is it? "Patients report" is not the same as a trial, and both are worth knowing about.
- Who decides whether I should have it? There should be a licensed provider in that sentence.
- What are the side effects and who should not have it? Every real treatment has an answer here. "None" is not one.
- What does it cost, in total? Including the consultation, the follow-up and anything that has to be repeated.
- What happens if it does not work? How long before you would say so, and what then.
Why they work
None of them require you to know any medicine. They are all questions about process, and a clinic that has thought its process through can answer them in a sentence each.
You are also allowed to ask them here, of us. If the answer is not clear, say so on the consultation form and we will go through it.
General information, not medical advice, and not a substitute for being assessed by a clinician. Nothing here has been evaluated by the FDA. What is right for you is a decision for a provider who has your history in front of them.
